Hotel smelled pleasant; staff more than merely "accommodating".

No TV (cable) guide, towels were rough as burlap, sheets not highest quality.

Excellent location, congenial staff, (they extended checkout 1-1/2 hr for us without charge); we had front room, right over lobby, but it was quiet and beds were reasonably comfortable. Only discrepancies were that the sheets were a low-grade fabric and dragged and pulled loose, and that the towels were a stiff grade and rough as a burlap sack. The willingness of the staff to relocate us after we complained about the condition of the tile in the bathroom.

The tile in the first bathroom had mold in it and the grout. Needs to be professionally cleaned and resealed.

The hotel is in a good spot in the small town of Farmville. I thought the rooms were smaller than they should have been.

Super friendly staff!

Beside a 24 hour gas station. Very loud at all hours of night.

The hotel staff are very nice & accommodating. The only down side to the hotel is the 24 hour gas station beside of it. The station plays music loudly outside all night. It was difficult to sleep with all of the noise. However if you got a room on the opposite side of the hotel, you would probably be fine. ...read more
